OCS 2007 R2 Response Group Service does not stay started and certificate error in log

Posted by Chad McGreanor on April 7, 2009

Long time no post but I am stll alive.  Very busy but alive.

I recently had to change my certificate on my OCS 2007 R2 Front End. After doing that I noticed that the response group service was having a certificate issue, no other services were affected.  I found that the last fqdn in the certificates SAN field did not match the pool name.  I guess this is a problem for the response group service.  I generated a new certificate with the pool fqdn, ie lab-ocsr2.voxlab.local as the last entry in the field.  Restarted the services and everything worked.  The last entry prior to that was lab-ocsr2.voxns.com.
